Reliance Infrastructure (R-Infra) has secured a Rs 780-crore BOT project for
four-laning of the 66 km Gurgaon-Faridabad road in Haryana.
R-Infra on 23 November 2009, handed over a demand draft of Rs 150.3 crore as
grant to the Haryana Government for four-laning of Gurgaon-Faridabad road and
widening of Ballabhgarh-Sohna road to 10 mtrs.
For upgradation, both bituminous and concrete pavements are likely to be
provided. In addition, some links of the roads like MCF road, crusher zone road
and Pali Bakhri road are expected to be improved as a part of the work.
The concession period of the project is 17 years, including construction
period of two years. The project is slated to be completed by May 2011.
