The Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) has appointed Mantec Consultants
for providing consultancy services for 1,000 MW gas based power project in the
existing premises of Guru Gobind Singh Super Thermal Plant, Ropar in Punjab.
According to sources, Mantec has been awarded the lumpsum work on turnkey
basis. This includes the work of carrying out Environment Impact Assessment
studies, conducting public hearing, obtaining no objection certificate from
various departments and input required for environmental clearance of the power
plant.
