The MMRDA has opened the Sion Hospital flyover in Mumbai for vehicular
traffic.
The 680 mtrs flyover was constructed within a period of twenty two months.
Two south bound lanes have been opened while the two north bound lanes are
likely to be opened in a month's time.
The Rs 45-crore Sion Hospital flyover is the first of the three flyovers; the
other two flyovers in the package are at King's Circle and Hindamata on Dr
Ambedkar Road. The cost of the entire package is Rs 142 crore.
