Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) bagged an order worth Rs 318 crore for
from Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority for constructing an elevated
road corridor from Park Circus to EM Bypass near Parama Island in Kolkata.
The scope of work includes design and construction of the flyover, with
installation of electrical and other works (including LT Feeder Pillar Boards
and street line poles). HCC is expected to construct the four lane (part
two-lane) 8.14 Km Flyover from Park Circus to Parama Island, which will continue
up to EM Bypass to the north of Dhapa crossing on a turnkey basis.
The order also includes operational and maintenance work for two years from
the date of completion of the project. The project is to be completed within 30
months.
