IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects secured a Rs 1,125 crore order from the NHAI
for six-laning of roads from Km 102.035 to Km 144.740 on Chengapalli to
beginning of Coimbatore bypass and four-laning from Km 170.940 to Km 183.060 on
end of Coimbatore bypass to Tamil Nadu/Kerala border section of NH 47 in Tamil
Nadu under the NHDP Phase-II on DBFOT basis.
The company, through its two SPVs is executing the road projects on NH-47 for
a stretch of 100 km between Salem-Komarapalayam-Chengapalli on BOT basis. The
new project falls in the same corridor extending from Chengapalli to Coimbatore
bypass. The concession period of the project is 27 years including construction
period of 30 months.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, finance, construction,
operation and maintenance of the road project with the total length of the road
being 54.775 km.
