Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) has received three LoAs from the NHAI to
develop three contiguous sections of approx 256 km length between Behrampore to
Dalkhola on NH-34 in West Bengal on DBFOT Toll basis.
The first order entails development of existing two lanes to four lanes
between
Behrampore and Farakka section of NH-34 (103 km). The second order includes
development of existing two lanes to four lanes between
Farakka to Raniganj section of NH-34 (103 km). The third contract involves
development of existing two lanes to four lanes between
Raniganj to Dalkhola section of NH-34 (50 km).
The three contracts are worth a total Rs 2,860 crore and the SPV companies
implementing these projects under HCC Infrastructure, a wholly owned subsidiary
of the company, shall be receiving a cumulative grant of Rs 1,033.47 crore
during the construction period.
The first order has a concession period of 25 years including the
construction period of 910 days while the second and third orders have a
concession period of 30 years including the construction period of 910 days.
