The Union Ministry of Rural Development has allocated funds worth Rs 102
crore for construction of rural roads in Madhya Pradesh (MP) under Pradhan
Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).
Madhya Pradesh Rural Roads Development Authority (MPRRDA) is the agency
executing the works taken up under PMGSY in the state. PMGSY envisages
connectivity to all habitations with a population of 500 persons and above in
the rural areas and about 250 persons and above in respect of the hilly states,
tribal areas and desert areas through good and all weather roads.
