IRB Jaipur Deoli Tollway and IRB Pathankot Amritsar Toll Road - wholly-owned
subsidiaries of IRB Infrastructure Developers, have achieved financial closure
in terms of the concession agreement executed with NHAI, by tying up of debt of
Rs 900 and Rs 924 crore respectively from a consortium of IDFC, Canara Bank,
Bank of Baroda and Union Bank of India.The consortium is led by IDFC, which has
committed Rs 1,100 crore.
IRB's contract job for the
Jaipur-Deoli project comprised design, engineering, finance, construction,
operation and maintenance of the section of NH-12 from Km 18.700 to Km 165.000
in Rajasthan. The construction cost was Rs 1,500 crore.
The scope of work of the Rs 1,200-crore
Pathankot-Amritsar (NH-15) project included designing, engineering,
construction, operation and maintenance of a stretch of from Km 6.082 to Km
108.502 in Punjab.
