A consortium of JMC Projects and SREI Infrastructure has secured an order
from the NHAI to construct a four-lane highway between Rohtak to Bawal section
in Haryana.
The total project cost will be in the range of Rs 1,000 crore. The project is
to be implemented on a DBFOT (toll) basis with a concession period of 27 years,
including the construction period. The project is to construct a four-lane
highway over a stretch of 83 km on NH-71 between Rohtak to Bawal section. The
corridor connects Northern part of Haryana and north-west Punjab to NH-8 at
Bawal.
The project under the NHDP - III is expected to be operational in the next 36
months.
