BHEL has been awarded an order worth Rs 6,300 crore from Raichur Power
Corporation (RPCL) for setting up a 1,600 MW (2x800 MW) Supercritical Thermal
Power Project in Karnataka.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection
and commissioning of two units of 800 MW each with supercritical parameters at
Yeramarus in Raichur district of Karnataka.
RPCL is a JV company of Karnataka Power Corporation (KPCL) and BHEL.
