IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects has bagged a Rs 3,100 crore project from
NHAI for four/six laning of NH-17 section between Maharashtra-Goa border to
Panaji-Goa-Karnataka border from km 475.040 to km 611.000 in Goa under NHDP-Phase-III
on DBFOT pattern.
The project has a concession period of 23 years with a positive capital grant
of Rs 664.72 crore.
It constitutes six-laning for 32.96 km and four-laning of 89.10 km and
building of a new and iconic six-laned cable stay bridge over river Zuari for
900 mtrs length comprising main span of 500 mtrs, supported on 130 mtrs high
pylons and adjacent span of 200 mtrs on either side and approach viaduct of 300
mtrs on either side totalling to 1,500 mtrs over all length. The project is
scheduled for completion in 36 months for highway portion and 48 months for
Zuari bridge work.
