L&T's metallurgical, material handling and water operating company has bagged
orders totalling to Rs 747 crore from various clients.
The company secured a turnkey contract worth Rs 276 crore from Coal India for
coal handling plant at
Northern Coalfield, Amlohri in Madhya Pradesh. The scope of work involves
basic and detail engineering, supply and erection of mechanical, electrical and
instrumentation works, complete civil and structural works including testing and
commissioning. The work is to be completed in 24 months.
The company bagged an order valued at Rs 260 crore from Indiabulls Power for
supply & erection of coal handling plants at
Amaravati and
Nashik thermal power plants in Maharashtra. The scope of the work includes
basic engineering, detail engineering, supply and erection of mechanical,
electrical and instrumentation works including testing and commissioning. The
project is also to be executed within 28 months.
Hindalco Industries awarded a contract worth Rs 211 crore for aluminium
rolling mill complex at
Hirakud, Orissa. The scope of the work includes civil & structural works for
aluminium rolling mill and related facilities and is to be executed in 16
months.
