Sembawang Engineers and Constructors, a subsidiary of Punj Lloyd Group, has
bagged a contract worth Rs 1,394 crore from Singapore's Resorts World Sentosa, a
subsidiary of Genting Group.
The project coming up in Singapore entails the construction of the Equarius Hotel, a world-class
spa, beach villas, an oceanarium, and a water theme park.
The scope of works will include civil, structural, architectural works for
the following developments:
1. Equarius Hotel - an eight-storey building with 374 rooms and a basement.
2. ESPA - a world-class spa with various buildings dedicated to treatment,
relaxation and wellness.
3. Beach Villas - a cluster of 42 villas which will be built in three different
designs.
4. Marine Life Park - the oceanarium spread over 46,000 sq mtrs.
5. Water Theme Park - a 13,000 sq mtrs l park located near Resorts World
Sentosa’s Hard Rock Hotel.
