Punj Lloyd, in a JV with Spain's Tecnicas Reunidas, has bagged a $463 million
(approx Rs 2,152.95 crore) gas gathering package contract from the Abu Dhabi Gas
Development Company as part of a programme to develop the Shah sour gas
reservoir.
Abu Dhabi Gas Development Company has also awarded three other contracts.
Italy's Saipem S.p.A has bagged two contracts worth $1,648 million (approx Rs
7,663.2 crore) for sulphur recovery package and the product pipelines package
while South Korea based Samsung Engineering Company has been awarded utilities
and offsite package contract worth $1,496 million (approx Rs 6,956.4 crore).
The new Shah Gas Development facilities will be designed to process about one
billion standard cubic feet of gas per day.
