Noida's power infrastructure is set for a major upgrade with a Rs 97 crore investment aimed at improving reliability and capacity.
The overhaul, which includes replacing outdated cables, poles, and strengthening transformers, is expected to be completed by March 2026. Surveys to assess the infrastructure have already been completed, and tenders for execution will be issued soon. Alongside this, the city will also benefit from a Rs 1,313 crore modernisation initiative under the national revamped distribution sector scheme, focusing on system augmentation, SCADA installations, and smart technology integration.
This investment will create a robust, future-ready power grid capable of meeting Noida's growing demands. The improvements will help reduce outages, stabilise voltage, and support both residential and industrial consumers along the rapidly expanding Noida Expressway.
