Numaligarh Refinery (NRL) is planning to invest approx. Rs 35,000 crore in the next five years to complete its various ongoing and proposed projects.
These projects comprise a mega expansion project for tripling NRL's refining capacity to nine million tpa, a project to lay transnational crude oil pipeline from Paradip in Odisha, a 2G ethanol project and many others.
With these projects, the company seeks to enable long-term business growth in terms of revenue.
During the year, a 360 kilo tpa polypropylene project was approved and is estimated to cost Rs 7,231 crore.
