The Board of Trustees of the Odisha Urban Infrastructure Development Fund (OUIDF) has given in principle approval to five projects worth Rs 588.88 crore for different Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
The trust will fund rehabilitation of slum dwellers under housing for all at Subudhipur, Satyanagar, and Gadakana of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) at an estimated cost of Rs 23.33 crore, Rs 66.48 crore and Rs 94.92 crore, respectively.
It will fund Rs 94.92 crore for a solid waste management project in Berhampur Municipal Corporation and Rs 309.33 crore for a sewerage development system at Sambalpur.
