PG Electroplast, a leading electronic manufacturing services (EMS) provider has plans to boost its washing machine production capacity to target two lakh units per month.

The company has revised its revenue target for the financial year ending March 2025 to Rs 4,550 crore, up seven percent from the earlier projection of Rs 4,250 crore. Its growth trajectory is expected to be driven particularly by its washing machine segment.

The company PG Electroplast has recently signed a definitive agreement with Whirlpool to manage contract manufacturing for select semi-automatic washing machine models. Production will be conducted at the company’s Roorkee facility, where pilot runs have already commenced. Full-scale production is expected to start by the end of this month or early next month.

In addition to its washing machine operations, PG Electroplast is in advanced discussions for a strategic partnership in room air conditioner (RAC) compressors. The company plans to utilise 60-70 percent of RAC compressor production internallys, while the remaining 30-40 percent will be sold to external customers.

The product business, which contributes approx. 69 percent of total sales, with the current momentum plans to expand significantly. Electronics, excluding the television segment, currently account for around seven percent of total revenue.
