With a vision to improve logistics efficiency in the country, PM Modi dedicated the Hassan-Cherlapalli LPG Pipeline project worth nearly Rs 2,170 crore.
The LPG pipeline, from Hassan in Karnataka to Cherlapalli (suburb of Hyderabad), provides a cost-efficient as well as eco-friendly mode of LPG transportation and distribution in the region. Additionally, PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of the multiproduct petroleum pipeline of Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) from Krishnapatnam to Hyderabad (Malkapur). This 425-km pipeline is expected to cost Rs 1,940 crore.
