GPT Infraprojects has bagged a contract valued at Rs 199.2 crore from North Eastern Railway.
The order involves the construction of substructures, including the fabrication of superstructures, and the launching of two key bridges (Bridge No. 247 and 287) over the river Rapti. The project will span 10x61.0 meter bridges for a double line, meeting RDSO’s 25 T axle loading standards. The bridges are part of the new line work between Khalilabad and Bahraich stations on the North Eastern Railway. The contract also includes double D-type well foundation work.
The work is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing rail connectivity and boosting regional development.
