Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, to inaugurate and lay the foundation for multiple infrastructure and development projects valued at over Rs 1,140 crore, on October 30-31.

The projects aim to boost connectivity, mobility, and tourism around the Statue of Unity. Key developments include the Birsa Munda Tribal University, the Hospitality District's first phase, and a fleet of 25 electric buses with an e-charging depot. Modi will also unveil the Museum of Royal Kingdoms of India and other major tourism-related initiatives, such as the Veer Balak Udyan and jetty developments.

The expansion seeks to enhance accessibility and promote sustainable mobility. Modi's visit will also coincide with the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations marking the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. "These projects will not only enhance the region's infrastructure but also boost the tourism and employment potential of the area," PM Modi said.
