PNC Infratech (PNC) has been granted eligibility to bid for new infrastructure projects starting 17 February, 2025, following a reduction in restrictions imposed by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH).
The initial one-year restriction, applied in October 2024, was shortened to four months, contingent on completion of specific procedures with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). As of 30 September, 2024, PNC's order book stands at over Rs. 19,900 crore, with significant ongoing projects, including the Prayagraj-Kaushambi, Jalna-Nanded, Pune Ring Road, and Kanpur-Lucknow Expressways, comprising 84 percent of its total order book.
The company has also received approval to transfer stakes in its Bundelkhand and Khajuraho projects to KKR-backed Highways Infrastructure Trust, with the transaction expected to close by 31 March, 2025.
