Mumbai-based PSL and
US-based A&L Group have entered into a JV, to set up a pipe mill in the Port
of Bienville Industrial Park, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
The facility to be spread
over 156 acres of land, will manufacture coat and line pipes of large diameter
of `24 inches to 60 inches', with wall thickness ranging from one-fourth inch to
one inch, and a of length up to 80 inches (grade up to X80).
PSL will hold about 75 per
cent equity (investment of about $20 million) in the project, for which, a
subsidiary, namely PSL - NA (North America) will be set up.
