Public Works Department (PWD), Assam has invited bids for the upgradation of the multi-disciplinary sports complex in Khanikar, Dibrugarh.
The project focuses on increasing the seating capacity of the main stadium from 5,000 to 35,000, making it a prominent venue for sports events. The development will be executed under the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) mode, with a total estimated cost of Rs 144.44 crore. The completion timeline for the contract is set at 24 months. The project is expected to enhance the infrastructure for sports and recreational activities in the region, and improve Dibrugarh’s status as a key location for sporting events in the region.
The bid submission deadline is 05 January, 2026.
