Pace Digitek has secured a Rs 1,159.31-crore order from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 600 MW/1200 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) package.
The order, announced on 22 October, 2025, marks one of India’s largest single-location BESS projects, and includes a 10-year service and maintenance contract. Pace Digitek will oversee the entire delivery process, from supplying core components like BESS DC Blocks, Power Conversion System (PCS), and Energy Management Systems (EMS), to testing, integrating, and commissioning the facility.
Venugopal Rao Maddisetty, Chairman & MD of Pace Digitek, hailed the win as a pivotal moment for the company, reinforcing its role in India's energy transition. The company has also established a BESS manufacturing facility to support this project, underscoring its commitment to longterm energy storage solutions.
