Patel Engineering has won two orders valued at Rs 708.04 crore.
The first order worth Rs 554.67 crore was bagged from the Vidarbha Irrigation
Development Corporation, Maharashtra for the construction of pump house with
pumping machinery, electric overhead travelling crane, switch yard and
construction of rising main with manifold and water hammer control device. The
project also includes construction of delivery chamber & balancing tank which
has to be completed in three years.
The second order worth Rs 153.37 crore was bagged from the Himachal Pradesh
Power Corporation for the construction and completion of a powerhouse complex
(civil works) for the
111-MW Sawra Kuddu hydroelectric project in Shimla district. The scope of
work consists of construction of surge shaft, pressure shafts, machine hall,
erection and control bays, transformer cavern, pot head yard, cable tunnel, and
tail race tunnel.
