Phillips Machine Tools has inaugurated the Phillips Manufacturing Expertise Center in Chakan, Pune, to accelerate India’s shift to advanced, smart, and sustainable manufacturing.

The facility, unveiled by industry leaders Basavraj P Kalyani and Alan Phillips, is strategically located in one of India’s prime industrial hubs. This cuttingedge center will serve as a hub for innovation, learning, and collaboration among manufacturers, technology partners, and academia. It features live demonstrations of state-of-the-art CNC machines, automation systems, and advanced 3D printing technologies like SLA, SLS, FFF, DMLS, and Hybrid.

The centre also doubles as a training and application development space, offering hands-on exposure to the latest industry technologies, thereby addressing the skill and technology gaps in India's manufacturing sector.
