Pre-qualification bids have been invited by the Indian Navy for construction of piers and other associated work for marine work package-3 (MWC-03) in Karnataka.
The scope of work involves construction of piers with installation of cranes, landside tunnel, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services, and other associated work for marine work package-3 (MWC-03) at Naval Base, Karwar, in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka.
The work also involves construction of four piers, including two covered piers with fixing of fenders, bollards, ladders, stairs, crane rails, installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical/electrical equipment, and services/utilities among other work.
The project will entail an investment of Rs 1,044 crore.
