The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has allotted a 12,000 sq. mtrs. (three-acre) plot in its Medical Device Park, Sector-28, to Premier Medical Systems & Devices (formerly Medisys).
A letter of intent has been issued, and the Noida-based firm will invest Rs 60 crore, creating about 450 employment. YEIDA officer Shailendra Bhatia said the new facility will expand the company’s portfolio to radiology and oncology equipment, in addition to critical-care technologies such as ventilators, anesthesia workstations, and infusion pumps already produced at its Sector 63 unit.
Established in the 1970s, Medisys pioneered India’s first locally made ventilator and now exports to Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. The 350-acre park, north India’s first dedicated hub focuses on radiology, cancer care, implants, and diagnostics, with streamlined approvals under the national “Promotion of Medical Device Parks” scheme. As of mid-2025, 89 plots have been allotted; construction is underway at seven sites, with full infrastructure completion targeted by January 2026.
