IL&FS Transportation Neworks’ subsidiary, MP Border Checkpost Development Company, which had been mandated the development of 24 border checkposts by the MP Road Development Corporation, has been issued Provisional Completion Certificate to commercially operate one more checkpost, namely, Sendhwa-Khetia Border Checkpost, which is effective from today.
This is in addition to the two existing central control facilities (CCF Gwalior and CCF Indore) and 12 border checkposts already in operation at 1) Agra-Mumbai, 2) Indore-Ahmedabad, 3) Shivpuri-Kota, 4) Betul-Nagpur, 5) Indore-Icchapur, 6) Mhow-Neemuch, 7) Jabalpur-Jaipur, 8) Seoni-Nagpur, 10) Kabir-Chabutra, 11) Sagar-Kanpur, and 12) Ujjain-Jhalawar for which a Provisional Completion Certificate has been issued and in operation as of date.
The project is fee-based with a concession period of 12 and a half years.
