Supply chain major, Prozo is looking to expand its warehousing space to five million sq. ft. and expects to invest Rs 50 crore every year spread over a three years’ horizon. This indicates a significant increase from the current 1.5 million sq. ft., and fits in with the requirement of dedicated fulfilment centres to address multi channel demand faced by brands.
The expansion plan includes setting up 70 to 100 warehouses, depending on the sizes and demand, which will add to the 25 warehouses built in the last 11 to 12 months. The company's focus is on tier-II cities, led by the shift in demand towards these regions.
The Gurugram-based company, with its extensive network of over 30 multi-channel warehouses spanning across India, is building an operating system of supply chains which will help brands to steer key challenges.
Prozo which manages supply chains for Reliance JioMart, Urban Ladder, MPL, Hyundai, and many others, has successfully secured funds of Rs 131 crores from investors.
