1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Pune's longest flyover on Sinhagad Road inaugurated

Pune’s longest flyover, stretching nearly 2.5 km on Sinhagad Road, was inaugurated on 01 September by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, alongside Madhuri Misal, Minister of State for Urban Development, marking a major boost for city commuters.

Minister Misal highlighted, "The commute from Funtime cinema to Vitthalwadi will now be easier, faster and more convenient. This bridge will be extremely important in reducing the longstanding traffic congestion in the Sinhagad Road area." The Rs 118-crore project, initiated in September 2021, concluded in August 2025, six months ahead of schedule. Executed in three phases, the first 520 mtrs. stretch at Rajaram Bridge Chowk cost Rs 15 crore and opened in August 2024.

The second, 2.1 km from Vitthalwadi to Funtime cinema, was inaugurated in May 2025 at Rs 61 crore. The final 1.54 km link between Goyal Ganga Chowk and Inamdar Chowk, with a Rs 42-crore outlay, was inaugurated on 01 September , 2025. PMC officials noted the flyover will ease traffic for school buses, commercial vehicles, and public transport, allowing motorists to bypass key junctions and save 15–25 minutes on daily travel.
