Hyderabad-based EV startup Quantum Energy has announced the expansion of its advanced manufacturing facility in Maheshwaram, located near the proposed Future City in Hyderabad. Spanning 2.4 lakh sq. ft. with a production capacity of two lakh units per annum, the facility has been designed as a net-zero premises, aligning with the increasing demand for sustainable industrial infrastructure.
This move is driven by rising demand for Quantum Energy’s electric two-wheelers, including current models like Plasma, Milan, and Bziness, along with upcoming launches tailored for Indian conditions. The company is intensifying its focus on last-mile connectivity and cost-efficient, eco-friendly transportation options to redefine the two-wheeler industry. The expansion is also expected to generate significant employment in the region.
