Rays Power Infra has announced an investment from AP Moller Capital - Emerging Markets Infrastructure Fund II (EMIF II Holding), which will invest up to Rs 1,350 crore in renewable energy projects developed through project-specific SPVs.
This commitment is expected to catalyse a total project expenditure of Rs 5,200 crore, enhancing the company’s scale, revenue visibility, and future collaboration opportunities. This marks AP Moller Capital’s first investment in India, underscoring the country’s growing role as a key hub for renewable energy capital. AP Moller Capital has a strong track record of scaling renewable energy businesses across Southeast Asia and Africa, with over two GW of renewable capacity developed. The broader AP Moller Group has been active in India for over 30 years.
