Reliance Aerospace Technologies, a Reliance group company, has evinced interest to set up its first aerospace unit in or around Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.
The company has requested the Andhra Pradesh government to provide land in Hyderabad. It will visit the city by next week and finalise the location for setting up its manufacturing unit.
Reliance Aerospace Technologies has been incorporated by Reliance group to design and develop equipment and components like airframe, engine, radars and the likes for both, civilian and military aircraft and helicopters.
Tata group has already set up its first aerospace unit at a special economic zone in Adibatla near Hyderabad.
Mahindra aerospace will also set up its unit at HAL industrial area near Bangalore.
