RenewSys, a Mumbai-based solar module manufacturer, has secured a major deal to supply 1.1 GW of polyolefin elastomer (POE) encapsulants to Kosol Energie.
The encapsulants, which protect solar cells from environmental damage, will be delivered between December 2025 and September 2026. These POE encapsulants will be used in the production of high-efficiency solar modules at Kosol Energie’s advanced facilities. RenewSys manufactures solar components, including 30 GW of encapsulants and four GW of backsheets, and is in the process of expanding its production capacity. The company’s POE encapsulants, branded as CONSERV, are UL-certified and suitable for both glass-glass and glass-backsheet modules.
The CONSERV E360 product, with its low thermal shrinkage and ultra-low string shifting, helps improve module performance with shorter lamination cycles. “These encapsulants provide better aesthetics and more efficient module manufacturing,” said RenewSys. Kosol Energie specialises in solar modules and solutions, with over 1 GW of projects executed.
