Roshni Renewable, a joint venture between seasoned professionals from Valco and Solidus Techno Power, has announced the establishment of Punjab's first giga-scale solar module manufacturing plant.

With an initial production capacity of 1.8 GW, the state-of-the-art facility aims to enhance both Punjab's industrial landscape and India's renewable energy sector. The fully automated plant will adhere to global production standards, generate significant employment opportunities, and drive sustainable growth in the region. The project is a strategic collaboration with Jinchen, India's trusted supplier of solar module manufacturing lines, and was officially launched during the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo.

Ajay Gupta, representing Roshni Renewable, emphasised the project’s role in supporting India's clean energy mission while strengthening Punjab’s industrial future through job creation and advanced manufacturing capabilities.
