SPS Construction India has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for the construction of two key infrastructure projects by Public Works Department (PWD), West Bengal.
The works, valued at Rs 311.77 crore, include the construction of the Shilpa Setu bridge over the Damodar River, located 2.95 km parallel to the existing Krishak Setu, and the construction of a bridge over the Eden Canal, 2.415 km along the Burdwan-Arambagh Road (SH-7) within the Burdwan Division in the district of Purba Bardhaman. The bridges will be executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis, and are expected to significantly enhance transportation infrastructure in the region.
The development is a critical part of the state's infrastructure growth, improving connectivity and contributing to the region's overall economic development.
