SUNDAY Hotel, a premium brand of PRISM (formerly Oravel Stays), is set to enter India’s wildlife tourism sector, with plans to open 10 properties within six months.
The first of these, SUNDAY Hotel and Resort, opened last week near Jim Corbett National Park in Kiyari Kham, offering over 50 rooms, including premium, attic, family rooms, and suites with forest-view balconies. The company plans to expand with nine more resorts across top wildlife destinations like Ranthambore, Bandhavgarh, and Periyar.
The company aims to create a Pan-India footprint, focusing on eco-friendly practices, local community empowerment, and curated nature-based experiences such as safaris, bird-watching, and wellness activities. With the wildlife tourism sector growing 15 percent annually, the brand hopes to cater to the increasing demand for nature-led, sustainable tourism experiences.
