Serene Communities, the senior living arm of Columbia Pacific, plans a major expansion with the launch of about 3,000 senior homes across 13 projects in Bengaluru, Chennai, Mysuru, Pune, Kochi, Coimbatore and Hyderabad in the current financial year.
Backed by an investment of roughly Rs 2,500 crore, the company is also set to deploy an additional Rs 1,000 crore next year, adding over 1,250 units to its development pipeline. The upcoming homes, priced between Rs 60 lakh and Rs one crore, will be delivered primarily through collaboration partnerships with developers. Serene Communities currently operates 10 communities with around 1,700 units and has nearly two million sq. ft. under various stages of development.
Hyderabad has emerged as a key focus market, with two projects involving Rs 400 crore and 550 units underway in Shankarpalli and Shamshabad. The company is also exploring Delhi-NCR, Kolkata and Gujarat to build a national footprint. Additionally, Serene Communities will launch a new assisted living vertical by March next year, introducing rental-based senior housing models to enhance affordability and access.
