Sona Valliappa Group has launched the Sona Centre for Advanced Learning & Entrepreneurship (SCALE), a Rs 150 crore initiative aimed at skilling, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Located in Karnataka, the centre is designed to train professionals for emerging industries and Global Capability Centres (GCCs). Thyaagu Valliappa, Founder of SCALE, explained that the institute's goal is to bridge the gap between industry and academia, offering hands-on learning in advanced "hot labs," leadership exposure, and strong industry engagement. “The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between industry and academia through hands-on learning,” said Founder Valliappa.
SCALE is supported by over 50 MoUs and 15 centres of excellence (CoEs) in partnership with global brands, industry leaders, and government stakeholders. In collaboration with the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), SCALE also plans to upskill over 3,000 engineers across the state.
