Sri Chamundeswari Suagrs Ltd is
setting up a 22 MW bagasse-based power plant at its sugar mill at KM Doddi in
the Mandya district of Karnataka.
This co-generation plant would
use bagasse generated in the company’s sugar mill (capacity 4000 tccpd). The company
has proposed to take the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) route
to implement this project.
The company has invited tenders
from parties that have executed at least one Rankine Cycle Based Captive
Power or Cogeneration Project of a minimum of 20 MW capacity.
The last date for receipt of
completed tenders is 10 April 2001.
