Sun Drops Energia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KPI Green Energy, has bagged a second consecutive solar project order from Avichal Power. The latest contract is for a 100 MW solar power project in Gujarat, to be delivered in phases by FY27.
The project will follow a turnkey delivery model, covering engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). Sun Drops Energia will be responsible for delivering advanced module mounting structures, balance-of-plant materials, and executing civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation works. Furthermore, the company will manage comprehensive operations and maintenance of the plant throughout its lifecycle.
This new order follows closely on the heels of the nearly 37 MW solar project orders the company had secured earlier under Gujarat’s renewable energy policy, reinforcing its position in India’s fast-growing green energy sector. It reflects India’s ongoing transition toward sustainable and renewable power solutions, and aligns with the broader national goal of expanding solar capacity.
