Sunsure Energy has signed a long-term renewable power purchase agreement (PPA) with Bisleri International to supply clean solar power to its manufacturing facility in Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh.
This partnership will allow Bisleri to meet 48 percent of its electricity needs through solar energy, significantly reducing its carbon footprint by offsetting nearly 2,700 tonne of CO2 emissions annually. The renewable power will be sourced from Sunsure's 82.5 MWp solar plant in Erach, Uttar Pradesh.
Shashank Sharma, Founder & CEO of Sunsure Energy, emphasised that this collaboration strengthens the company's position as a preferred renewable energy partner for FMCG businesses in India. Bisleri CEO Angelo George noted that the move aligns with their Bisleri Greener Promise and enhances their commitment to sustainable growth. Sunsure’s 'UP Shakti' initiative is also expanding its green energy infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh.
