Tamil Nadu has entered into a strategic partnership with Bengaluru-based ANSR, a leader in establishing global capability centres (GCCs), to strengthen its position as a hub for high-value technology and engineering services.
The agreement, signed by the state’s investment promotion agency, Guidance, marks a significant step in Tamil Nadu's push to expand its footprint in the GCC sector—an integral part of corporate digital transformations TRB Rajaa, Tamil Nadu’s Minister for Industries, emphasised that the partnership would attract “the next wave of global corporations” and boost the state's competitiveness in the GCC market.
ANSR’s CEO, Lalit Ahuja, praised Tamil Nadu for offering "all the ingredients" necessary to lead in the GCC space, citing its skilled workforce and innovative ecosystem. With over 200 GCCs and a workforce of over 2,00,000, ANSR brings two decades of expertise in various high-tech domains.
