Tata Communications has announced the integration of the new submarine cable system, TGN-IA2, developed by the Asia Direct Cable (ADC) consortium, into its existing network infrastructure. This significant advancement enhances scalable bandwidth and high-capacity data transfer across diverse routes, catering to enterprises, hyperscalers, and service providers in Asia and beyond.
TGN-IA2 seamlessly integrates with Tata Communications' existing assets, extending connectivity from Asia to critical regions including the US, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India. Unlike traditional consortium-built systems, Tata Communications maintains full control over end-to-end capacity upgrades on TGN-IA2, providing unmatched flexibility and faster provisioning to meet dynamic business demands.
This network supports data-intensive applications such as AI, high-definition streaming, and data centre interconnectivity, empowering sectors like financial services, e-commerce, and logistics to benefit from improved latency, enhanced reliability, and greater network diversity.
