1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Tata Electronics, Merck ink MoU to boost semiconductor ecosystem in India

Tata Electronics, a key player in India’s electronics and semiconductor manufacturing sector, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Merck, a leading global science and technology company, for a strategic collaboration.

The agreement, announced on 02 August, 2025, focuses on advancing semiconductor materials, fabrication infrastructure, and specialty chemical and gas distribution in India. Under the MoU, Merck will provide its comprehensive suite of solutions, including high-purity electronic materials, advanced chemical and gas delivery systems, turnkey fab infrastructure services, and AI-driven Material Intelligence solutions—for Tata Electronics’ upcoming Fab in Dholera, Gujarat.

The collaboration also includes knowledge-sharing on safety, manufacturing excellence, and the use of Merck’s secure data platform, Athinia, for semiconductor industry-wide data collaboration. Plans further extend to localised warehousing, raw material supply chain development, talent cultivation, and the creation of industry standards in India.
