The Telangana state government has granted administrative approval for a Rs 673 crore budget to implement the Hyderabad City Infrastructure (H-CITI) project.
The project, set to be executed in phases, includes the construction of 19 flyovers, six roads, grade separators, and underpasses at six key junctions around Hyderabad. This initiative aims to enhance urban mobility and traffic management within the city. Additionally, the government has sanctioned funding for extending Metro Rail connectivity, with land acquisition in progress for the 7.5 km corridor from Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station to Chandrayangutta.
While most businesses along the corridor have accepted compensation for their land, a few holdouts remain. This development is expected to significantly improve transportation infrastructure and connectivity in Hyderabad, contributing to the city's growth and development.
