Western Coalfields has issued a tender for handling, transport, and other mining services related to the Adasa UG to OC mine in the Nagpur area.

The scope of work includes overburden (OB) removal, coal extraction, handling and transport services, as well as hoisting and excavation (HoE) work. The contract is for a period of 24 months. The tender seeks percentage-based quotes for various mining services.

This project will play a crucial role in improving mining operations at the Adasa mine, ensuring the efficient extraction and transportation of coal and other materials. Western Coalfields, part of the state-owned Coal India, continues to invest in modernising its infrastructure and operations to meet the growing demand for coal across the region.

Interested parties are required to submit their bids before the closing date, which is set for 04 February, 2026.
