The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has issued a tender for the development of Kharicut Canal.
The scope covers extensive canal development along multiple urban corridors, integrating sections of Ring Road, Vatva, Naroda, Vastral, and Ghodasar, while extending towards Ropda Lake and Khari River. The canal stretches from SP Ring Road to Naroda Smashan Gruh and from Vinzol Vehla to Ghodasar Aavkar Hall to Vatva to SP Ring Road of AMC area with further extension up to Ropda Lake and Khari River.
The project aims to upgrade canal infrastructure to enhance irrigation, water management, and urban connectivity across key stretches of Ahmedabad. The estimated cost of the work is Rs 979.26 crore.
Bid submission closing date is set for 15 September, 2025.
